Tirur: Congress functions as the 'B' team of BJP, said EM Abdul Rahiman, former Chairman of Popular Front.
Abdu Rahiman was delivering key note address at the welcome gathering held here for the newly elected national leadership of the organization.
Both parties are same in denying justice to Muslims. Status of Muslims in Congress-ruling Maharashtra
and Andhra Pradesh are not different from Modi's Gujrat.
Tirur: Tens of thousands offered warm reception to the newly elected National Leadership of Popular front of India, movement already penned new history with helping the oppressed sections of the society in their struggle to achieve their legitimate rights, being denied to them for decades. The leaders will continue the historic role their predecessors played in empowering the marginalized people including Muslims, the victims of the systematic discrimination by the elite class.
Thousands including women marked their participation at the gathering.
Malappuram: Popular front of India elected new national leadership for the next two years term with KM Shareef (Mangalore) as Chairman, O.M.A Salam(Malappuram) elected as General Secretary. Elections were held during the 3-day annual General Council convened here at Puthanathani in Malappuram. Prof. P Koya elected as Vice Chairman and M Muhammed Ali Jinna
and Elyas Muhammed Thumbe as secreteries.Muhammed Shahbudeen is new treasurer.
