In a statement released on the eve of the 24th anniversary of the demolition of the historic Babri Masjid by Hindutwa forces, Popular Front Chairman K M Shareef demanded rebuilding Babri Masjid at its actual site as was promised by the government to the nation immediately after the demolition. The attack had left a permanent blemish on the face secular democratic face of India. Babri Masjid demolition was a deliberate attempt by Sangh Parivar. The demolition would not have been possible without the support of the Congress party which was in power at the time.
Popular Front of India chairman K M Shareef has appealed to all Muslims groups as well as secular sections to support the steps taken by All India Muslim Personal Law Board for averting the implementation of Uniform Civil Code. He has extended full support to the decision of AIMLB to boycott the opinion survey announced by Law Commission of India.
Central Secretariat meeting of Poplar Front of India has resolved that Uniform Civil Code is unacceptable and urged the central government to withdraw from moves aimed at imposing Uniform Civil Code on all citizens. Though the directive principles of the Indian constitution advise the state a Uniform Civil Code, nullifying separate personal laws now enjoyed by different religious groups is an infringement of the freedom religion enshrined in it as a fundamental right.
Popular Front of General Secretary M. Mohammed Ali Jinnah visited the house of the two victims who were brutally beaten up by cow vigilantes. The two men, Hafiz Abdul Khalid, 25 and Ali Hasan, 35 were attacked outside a Madrassa at Prem Nagar near Nangloi in west Delhi on 14th September 2016 evening as they were removing remains of buffaloes slaughtered for Eid the previous day. The men dragged the two out of a tempo and hit them with iron rods. They called in more men and soon, around 24 vigilantes allegedly stripped and beat the two victims with sticks.

Chairman of Popular Front KM Shareef delivered the presidential address in which highlighted the current situation of the country. He stated “the road to power for the BJP was made easy by the disunity of the secular parties.
