Kashmir flood relief activities CD and brochure released

The beautiful land of Kashmir was devastated by the flood which, it is considered, as the worst flood that has ever hit the valley. More than 2600 villages were reported to be affected by floods and almost 390 villages in Kashmir were completely submerged. The preliminary assessment of damages to property was estimated between Rs.5000 cr to Rs.6000 cr. Major cities like Srinagar were severely damaged which resulted in the collapse of the local economy. The flood left thousands homeless life of people was shattered.

National Unity Movement demands religious unity

The National Unity Movement held a demonstration at Chennai on February 28 and stressed that people should not be divided on religious line. The National Unity Movement was recently formed by the Hindu, Muslim and Christian organizations. The Christian organizations were represented by Inigo Irudayaraj, the Hindu organizations by G. Muthu Krishnan and the Muslim organizations by A.K.Mohamed Haneefa.

On February 1st 2015, Atul Bhagwanrao Waghmare (29 years), a chemical engineer, employed with Yogeshwari Polytechnic College as professor in Ambejogai, dist. Beed, was found dead in a mysterious condition with his charred body in an apartment located in Anand Nagar on Basmat Road of Parbhani. He was resident of Pathri taluka of Parbhani.
