Aurangabad, Maharashtra, 28 Oct 2017: After the massive success of a series of #WeAlsoHaveSomethingToSay Grand Conferences in southern part of the country, it is the historic city of Aurangabad in Maharashtra which witnessed thousands of people extending their solidarity with Popular Front, the pan-India organization, against which the Hindutva led government at the Centre and a section of media are desperately engaged in tarnishing its image.
Kurnool: The Grand Conference of Popular Front of India as part of the national campaign “We also have something to say” witnessed an ocean of people in the city of Kurnool, AP. As per the people of the city this is the first time the city of Kurnool witnessed such a huge gathering. The huge participation of Women in the conference was also a highlight.
Jagtial, Telangana, 22 Oct. 2017: “We also have something to say”, the grand conference at Jagtial city after the success of Bangalore’s massive and historical gathering, has been attended by thousands and addressed by prominent scholars, leaders and rights activists.
The conference started with the historical rhymes “Sare Jahan Se Acha, Hindustan Hamara”, PFI Deccan Zone Secretary Arif Ahmed, welcomed the guests and presented the organizational state unit’s activity report.
Thoubal: Today Popular Front of India, Manipur State Organised a Grand Conference on the theme of “We also have something to Say” at Sangaiyumpham Idgah Ground, Thoubal District Manipur, on Sunday the 22nd October 2017, at 01:30. P.m.
Popular Front Chairman E Abubacker in a statement said that Sangh Pariwar is again intensively taking out the communal card in their attempt to avoid the grave governance failures becoming national discussion and polarise people ahead of election.
As the reports of Narendra Modi led Central Government’s moves to impose ban on Popular Front of India keep coming out, the Tamil Nadu state committee of the neo social movement organized two grand conferences in the state. The massively attended conferences held consecutively on 7th and 8th of October in Madurai and Chennai respectively under the title ‘Urimai Mulakka Manadu’ with the slogan ‘we also have something to say’ wowed to defy any repressive moves against the organization and made it clear that the organization would not compromise its ideals under any circumstances.
Amidst the misinformation campaign spearheaded by a section of media against Popular Front of India quoting government sources, Chairman E. Abubacker has submitted memorandum to Home Ministry, National Security Advisor and National Investigation Agency seeking objective and fair treatment on the part of the concerned authorities and withdrawal of the alleged moves to restrict the activities of the organization.
Bangalore, 15 Oct 2017: Popular Front State General Secretary Yasser Hassan, while delivering his welcome address to the gathering at the Grand Conference held at Palace Ground Bengaluru, highlighted that today’s grand conference is entitled as Gauri Lankesh Vedike, for it was the same stage, same venue that Gauri Lankesh had delivered her bold address and raised voice against the fascist forces in the country.
Amidst recent media reports of the Central Government moves to Popular Front of India, tens of thousands, men, women and children, drawn from all parts of Kerala, flocked to Trivandrum city to attend the mega rally and the grand conference that followed, organized by the Kerala state committee of the organization with the slogan “We also have something to say”. The massively attended gathering became a warning against the sinister attempts of the right-wing government to suppress democratic Muslim movements and initiatives labeling them as anti-national and demonizing them.
The meeting of the National Executive Council of Popular Front of India strongly condemned the vilification campaign launched by certain sections of media and challenged them to produce concrete evidence to prove their allegations. They quote an alleged National Investigation Agency report which looks like a rehash of false propaganda carried by the Hindutva organizations especially RSS. The cases listed by the media quoting NIA are so insignificant and unrelated to Popular Front as an organization. The meeting has decided to move legally against this ill-advised propaganda.
