Popular Front Chairman E Abubacker expressed deep condolence on the demise of Muslim leader from Karnataka Kamarul Islam. E Abubacker has said that Qamarul Islam’s death will leave the gap of wise compassionate leader for the Muslim community in the region. He deeply cared for his people. He entered politics through Muslim League and emerged as strong leader in Congress. He is a Congress MLA at present and he remained invincible politician in Kalaburagi until his death. Moves to stifle activities of Popular Front anti-democratic

Popular Front of India chairman E Abubacker in a media conference called at Calicut in Kerala today stated that the latest moves as reported in a section of media to stifle the activities of Popular Front is anti-democratic and the organisation is determined to resist such attempts through lawful means. Kerala state president Nasarudheen Elamaram also participated. The leaders also announced that public meetings will be convened in different parts of the country to explain the policies and approaches of the organisation.

Popular Front hails Supreme Court verdict on Right to Privacy

The Central Secretariat meeting of Popular Front of India held at its headquarters welcomed the Supreme Court verdict which pronounced that individual privacy is a fundamental right protected by the Indian Constitution. This unanimous ruling proclaimed as six judgments by the nine judge’s bench declared that the Right to Privacy is protected as an intrinsic part of the Right to Life and Personal Liberty under Article 21 and as a part of the freedoms guaranteed by Part III of the Constitution.
