Inaugurating the caravan Anwar Sadath, District President, Popular Front of India on March 6 in Vamanjoor had said that the reservation is the right for muslim and it has to be demanded from the government as most of the commissions set for the study of Muslim community have suggested the government to grant reservation for entire upliftment of the community which is found to be greatly illiterate, deprived of justice, poverty stricken, and leading its life in fear.
He even remarked that the Muslim community is more backward than SC, ST and other OBC’s. The Muslim community is totally utilized as vote bank by main stream political parties who have always obstructed Muslims in politics. This should be changed and the change can be brought by Muslims themselves with joint co ordination of like minded organizations.
Many intellectuals from various communities also participated in the carvan whosupported the cause of Muslim reservation stating its backwardness in every field and joined their hands with PFI in its endeavour in achieving Muslim empowerment. District committee members of PFI and other members were participated.
