Kozhikkode: CPM has surrendered before the pressure from BJP with respect to the arrest of Abdunnasir Ma'dani, chairman of People's Democratic Party (PDP), alleged Popular Front of India. There can be no justification for the police act to arrest Ma'dani who was on the way to surrender before the court, said Nasruddeen Elamaram, state president of Popular Front.

Bangalore: Members of a dalit organisation protested near Vidhana Soudha on Monday morning by pouring drainage sludge on themselves.

 Annaiah, Ravi, Rafiq and Abhi were taken into custody. Later, the organization's members met police commissioner Shankar Bidari and submitted a memorandum.

Kozhikkode: Freedom Parade by Popular Front of India will be held in four districts of Kerala, said Nasaruddeen Elamaram, state president. The parade which was being organised by the Popular Front on Independence Day will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Pathanamthitta, Thrissur and Wayanadu- four districts in which no ban was declared against it.

Kozhikkode: Will communal harmony of the country be disturbed when Hindutwa terrorism is exposed, asked P Abdul Hameed, Kerala state general secretary of Popular Front of India. The question was in the backdrop events in which police arrested some activists of Popular Front for sticking posters which expose RSS involvement in the recent terror attacks in the country. The poster was widely distributed all over the country as part of Popular Front's 'Save India Day' campaign on 9th of this month.

Kollam: The special investigation team of the Karnataka police reached Kerala town of  Kollam in order to arrest Peoples' Democratic Chairman (PDP) chairman Abdunnasir Ma'dani in connection with the Bangalore serial blasts case.
The team, which reached Nedumbassery airport today morning, went to Kollam after having discussion with the Kochi city police commissioner.
