Mumbai: Abdul Samad Bhatkal, who was picked up by police for alleged links with the Feb 13 Pune terror blasts, Tuesday denied he had anything to do with the bombing and said he was questioned in an illegal arms case.
Speaking to reporters after Samad was released on bail, his lawyer Mubin Solkar said Samad was made an accused in an illegal arms act case of 2009. He categorically denied any connection with the Feb 13 terror attack in Pune's German Bakery, situated in the upmarket Koregaon Park area, in which 17 people were killed.

Srinagar: Security forces shot dead three protestors in different places here Tuesday as thousands took to the streets in waves after the death by drowning of a youth sparked a chain of events that shook the Kashmir Valley.

What started off as one mourning procession took an ugly turn by early evening as a woman, a male government employee and a 14-year-old boy were killed in firing in separate incidents, further fuelling the mob fury.

കോതമംഗലം ചെറുവട്ടൂര്‍ സ്വദേശി ജാഫര്‍, കാലടി സ്വദേശി അശ്‌റഫ്‌ എന്നിവരെയാണ്‌ റിമാന്റ്‌ ചെയ്‌്‌തത്‌. ഞായറാഴ്‌ച പോലിസ്‌ കസ്‌റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത യുവാക്കളുടെ അറസ്‌റ്റ്‌ ഇന്നലെ ഉച്ചയ്‌ക്ക്‌ 12.30നാണു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്‌. തുടര്‍ന്ന്‌ മൂന്നുമണിയോടെ ഇവരെ കോടതിയില്‍ ഹാജരാക്കി.

New Delhi: Campus Front of India launched Anti-Israel Campaign among students in different parts of the country in July 2010. The decision was taken in the National Committee meeting held at Bangalore on 20th July.
After the recent Gaza Flotilla massacre taken out by Israeli occupiers towards humanitarian International team, Campus Front decided to launch a mass campaign against Israel in Campus.

In a statement today it said that measures like the proposed nuclear liability bill and economic policies of the centre are the result of globalization and privatization.
