Malappuram: An attempt by the workers of BJP to conduct a march to the Green Valley campus was foiled today by the police here. The police had banned the proposed march yesterday. Though the activists assembled near Manjeri general hospital, the police blocked them at the spot of inauguration itself. After the speeches by the leaders, the march was declared dispersed.

Kozhikkode: CPM has surrendered before the pressure from BJP with respect to the arrest of Abdunnasir Ma'dani, chairman of People's Democratic Party (PDP), alleged Popular Front of India. There can be no justification for the police act to arrest Ma'dani who was on the way to surrender before the court, said Nasruddeen Elamaram, state president of Popular Front.

കോഴിക്കോട്: ആഗസ്ത് 9 സേവ് ഇന്ത്യ ദിനമായി ആചരിക്കാനുള്ള ആഹ്വാനവുമായി പോപുലര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച പോസ്റ്റര്‍ പതിച്ച പ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ക്കെതിരേ കേസെടുത്തു ജയിലിലടച്ച നടപടി കടുത്ത നീതിനിഷേധവും വിവേചനവുമാണെന്നു സംസ്ഥാന ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി പി അബ്ദുല്‍ ഹമീദ് പറഞ്ഞു. ഫാഷിസത്തിനെതിരേ പൊരുതുക, ഭീകരതയെ തോല്‍പ്പിക്കുക എന്ന പ്രമേയവുമായി പോപുലര്‍ ഫ്രണ്ട് രാജ്യവ്യാപകമായി നടത്തുന്ന കാംപയിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ് പ്രസ്തുത പോസ്റ്റര്‍.
